Saturday 18 May, 11.30 to 17.00.
Friday 5 July to Sunday 7 July – weekend Pop-up Retreat with accommodation in conjunction with The Drawing Room and Keepers Cottage.
Our Pop-up Retreats are offered in conjunction with The Drawing Room, a beautiful farmhouse in the quintessentially English village of Butleigh. In the heart of rural Somerset, close to Glastonbury, it is an ideal and accessible location.
Perfect for attending on your own, with friends or giving as a special gift. Retreats are kept small and friendly with a maximum of six people; this creates a lovely sense of being among friends and enables yoga sessions to be adapted to where you are at. Beginners are very welcome.
We will ease into the day at 11.30 with relaxation and a hatha yoga class focusing on finding space and balance in the physical body.
A freshly prepared lunch will be served by The Drawing Room (vegan and gluten free options are available), with an abundance of locally sourced, primarily raw ingredients. Expect delicious seasonal salads, soup and herb and fruit teas!
The theme for the afternoon is de-stressing, creating calm and space for ourselves. Mindfulness, pranayama (use of the breath) and deeply calming somatic yoga will follow lunch.
Freshly made juices will be served before we end the day with an extended 1 hour yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to take you to a place between being awake and asleep. More than deep relaxation, you will leave feeling calm, balanced and peaceful.
Schedule for the day.
11.30 Arrival and welcome.
11.45 Hatha yoga.
14.00 Mindfulness, pranayama and calming yoga.
15.45 Freshly squeezed, healthful juices.

The investment for the one day retreat is £75. This includes all yoga sessions, lunch, freshly squeezed juices plus the use of mats, props and blankets. Free parking is available onsite.
Separate prices are available for weekend Pop-up Retreats depending on accommodation chosen at Keepers Cottage. Please visit the ‘Workshops, Courses and Retreats’ page for further details.
What people have said about our Pop-up Retreats.
“It was a wonderful day from start to finish. Carolyn is a fantastic teacher, very clear, knowledgeable and encouraging in how she leads you through the practice. Each yoga session has a different focus and seems to complement what has gone before; the day has obviously been put together in a very thoughtful way. The retreat venue itself is lovely with a beautiful separate meditation room and delicious lunch and afternoon tea all included. I can’t recommend it highly enough.” Emma.
“Thank you both for a wonderful and difference experience. Six of us enjoyed an inspiring day of yoga and meditation sessions including beautifully presented drinks, lunch and tea”. Virginia.
“Such a fabulous day with amazing company, food and yoga. What’s not to love.” Abbe.
