Mindful Yoga and Yoga Nidra
If you’re feeling tense, experiencing stress, burnout, overwhelm or prefer a gentle somatic practice, mindful yoga will encourage you to breathe more deeply, soothe the nervous system and calm the mind. Classes are sequenced to build towards a 20 minute yoga nidra (deep rest and relaxation).
Gentle Hatha Yoga
Work at your own pace in these accessible classes. Classes target functional mobility, posture, muscle tone, strength and balance alongside calming body and mind. Hatha Yoga classes are ideal for beginners to learn the fundamentals of yoga, if you prefer a gentle practice or find it difficult to get up and down from the floor quickly.
Move with the breath in a dynamic practice where there is time to experience and feel each pose. Classes include sun salutations and sequences with downward dogs and planks so you will need some yoga experience or a reasonable level of fitness. Vinyasa Yoga is sequenced to be helpful for anxiety, alongside building strength, flexibility and stamina.
Intermediate Vinyasa Yoga
A strong 30 minute practice for those times when it is challenging to fit a longer practice into your schedule.
Payment Options for Online Classes
Unlimited Online Class Passes: A whole month of yoga for £29.99.
Unlimited Online Class Passes offer the best value option to immerse yourself in yoga, improve mental and physical health and be part of our friendly community.
Passes provide access to all live classes on Zoom each week plus recordings (please note that courses and workshops are not included in Unlimited Class Passes). Recordings are saved in a private Facebook group so you can ‘catch up’ if you aren’t able to join live. In addition, you will also have access to a library of over 100 recorded classes in the group.
Each week, a theme from yoga philosophy is weaved into classes. If you would like to learn more about the weekly theme, Yoga Philosophy on Saturday mornings will enable you to discover more and start to take ancient yoga teachings about living a balanced, healthy and purposeful life into your day to day life. The first part of each Yoga Philosophy class is a presentation about the topic; this is followed by an opportunity for discussion.
Single Online Live Yoga Classes
Individual classes on Zoom can be booked for £8.50. Recordings of classes are not provided.
How to Book and Access Zoom Classes
Firstly, book and pay for your Unlimited Online Class Pass, individual class, course or workshop.
After that, you will be sent a Zoom link and code by email at least 30 minutes before each session starts. If you have registered for a course, the same link is used for all sessions in the course.
Please check your junk/spam email folder (particularly if you have a Hotmail email address) if you haven’t received log on details or email email@example.com at least 15 minutes before your session is due to start.
It is recommended that you log on to Zoom 5 to 10 minutes before the session starts. You will go to a Zoom waiting room and be let into the class at the scheduled time.
If you haven’t used Zoom before on your laptop, tablet or phone, when you first click on the link, you’ll be prompted to download Zoom. This only needs to be done once.
Once Zoom is set up on your device, click on the link that was emailed to you or enter the meeting ID and password on Zoom.
When you join a session, microphones will be muted until the end of each session when there is the opportunity to ask questions.
While it is helpful for you to leave your camera on so you can be seen, if this causes you to feel uncomfortable, you are welcome to switch it off.
If you have your camera on during the session, you won’t appear in the recording.
